Challenge
The challenge was to design a visual identity that captured the restaurant’s architectural elegance, the gastronomic experience and its connection to nature.
Concept
Inspired by the graceful arches in the building’s structure, the logo icon echoes the sweeping views framed by its windows, bridging refined design with the surrounding natural beauty.
Process
1. Discovery & Research
The project began with an in-depth exploration of Palazzo’s location, purpose, and ambiance. We conducted detailed conversations with the client and analyzed the restaurant’s architectural features and its relationship with the surrounding natural environment.
2. Concept Development
Drawing insights from this research, we focused on the architectural arches found throughout the restaurant, elements that frame views of the park like living paintings. These curves became the foundation for the logo concept, representing both shelter and openness, tradition and innovation.
3. Symbol Design
The icon was carefully crafted to reflect this duality. Its outer silhouette is inspired by the grand windows of historic French palaces, subtly adding a sense of refinement and elegance. The internal structure reveals the letterforms of Palazzo, turning the symbol into a visual puzzle that reinforces brand recognition.

The outer contour of the logo is designed to evoke the timeless elegance of the windows seen in classic French palaces, adding an air of sophistication. Moreover, the design subtly incorporates elements from the letters of the restaurant's name, weaving in an added sense of exclusivity and visual intrigue. This combination of architecture, nature, and typography results in a visual identity that captures the essence of Palazzo's unique concept.
